A Handlist of the Latin Writers of Great Britain and Ireland Before 1540. Additions and Corrections, 1997-2001 by Richard Sharpe, This Handlist records the known works of more than two thousand Latin writers from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales from the fifth century to the sixteenth. British and Irish writers who spent their careers on the continent of Europe, continental writers whose careers brought them to Britain or Ireland, and writers who worked under Anglo-Norman rulers in France all find their place. The emphasis is bibliographical rather than biographical, and the aim is to enable the reader easily to discover what an author wrote and where copies may be found. The best or most accessible editions are cited for printed texts, lists of manuscripts are provided for unprinted works or for those works where the available editions do not provide this information. The number of Latin works identified exceeds 5200.
The Little Book of Slugs "A perfect stocking filler for any gardener . . . funny and entertaining as well as very useful."-"Garden News" "The Little Book of Slugs" arose out of the Centre for Alternative Technology's Bug-the-Slug campaign. It collects over seventy different organic solutions to the slug problem, distilled from over three hundred professional and leisure gardeners. As well as organic methods to combat the slug, it includes details of slug lifestyles, habits and eating preferences, and information on reported problems associated with chemical controls. Allan Shepherd works at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales, is the author of "The Sustainable Careers Handbook" and a contributor to the "Garden," the "Express "and "Geographical "and "Country Smallholding "magazines. Suzanne Gallant is a freelance editor and researcher.

Pat O'Shane - Pat O'Shane was born in Mossman, in the State of Queensland, Australia, in 1941 to a father of Irish descent and an Aboriginal mother. She later moved to the State of New South Wales and after a career as a teacher, was admitted to the New South Wales bar in 1976. Gavin Robertson - Gavin Ron Robertson (born May 28, 1966, Sydney, New South Wales) is a former Australian cricketer who played in 4 Tests and 13 ODIs from 1994 to 1998 after a first-class cricket career that saw him depart New South Wales for Tasmania and then to return. Stewie Speer - Australian drummer Stewie Speer (born Melbourne, Victoria, June 26 1928; died Sydney, New South Wales, September 16 1986) is best known as a member of the 1960s-70s Australian group Max Merritt & The Meteors. Like Charlie Watts, Speer was one of many rock players who began their career in jazz, and like other contemporary Australian jazz musicians who worked in popular music – Bob Bertles, Bernie McGann, Warren Daly, Bobby Gebert, Don Burrows – he was known for his ability to work across many musical genres.
